Family Trip April 2010

Hai hai... finally, this is the story of our family trip to Central Java on April 2010...
We visited 2 major cities (Yogya & Solo) & some smaller towns (Magelang, Klaten, Wonogiri, Purwantoro..) ... so fun, with no assistants along, we can make the trip full of memory.. Main destination: visiting our nanny's wedding @ Wonogiri
Tips from mom:
1.don't make a long day trips, 3-4 days are more than enough for parents with no nanny...
2. find destination with a short time on flight... don't make the kids get bored up there.. :))

Here are the itinerary:

Day 1 Wed, 31 Mar:

• Jakarta - Jogja first flight.. wheww.. very early from home, kids still aslept :) It's Kian's first trip with flight.. yippie.... !
• Arrived in YK, directly heading to Borobudur Temple (magelang).. what a vacation !!
• After Magelang, we ran to Solo, because Mom booked the hotel in Solo, Novotel here we go..
• Hey.. we have dinner on the street (mom forgot the name, but close to Beteng market)

Day 2 Thu, 1 Apr:

• Swim @ the hotel early since we need to go to Wonogiri for the Wedding..
• We departed to Wonogiri @ 10 am... arrived after 2 hours driving & back to Novotel Solo already 9 pm!

Day 3 Fri, 2 Apr:

• Hah, it's our last day before returning Jakarta (afternoon flight).. we must get rush !!
• After a little bit shopping in PGS, and having story of the missing of Kian (hiks) we left the Pasar Grosir Solo, and heading back to Yogyakarta...

Lebaran Holiday's Report (mom's version)

AHAA !! It's holiday.. loooooong holiday !! 4 days lebaran holiday to enjoy with 3 lil monsters and no nanny.. yippie....

and the journey begins....

Day -1: Lunch + Dinner @ Plaza Semanggi
Day -2: Lunch + Dinner @ Poins Square
Day -3: Lunch + Dinner @ Grand Indonesia
Day -4: Lunch + Dinner @ PIM

then, we picked-up OMA to stay in Cinere for 2 days since Mom has to work & Pap planned to Cirebon for his friends' wedding.

So, nothing to worry, huh ?? Just ready for the nxt month bills, Pap :p

Here, Mom hides some important information, since it's our very colorful secret ;p :
- Nanny already left from 14th of Sept (how to feed the baby, mbak??)
- The big kids, still having school until 17th of Sept (what is today's uniform mbak ??)
- We forgot William's bday on the 17th Sept, due to that 'very busy situation' (gosh!)
- Pap worked so hard as a MOM, since the real Mom has to work (sorry Pap)
- With so many little things to clean-up, to prepare, to check, to handle (ffiuuuh)
- Soooo, 4 days having Lunch + Dinner at mal were sound so fine, right ??! (*wink2*)

Two in One

Starting the month of August, Mom & Pap were joining this mini seminar held by GKI Cinere, special event for couple, themed "Doea didalam Satoe" -Two in One- took place in Plataran, Jagakarsa, quite near to Cinere...

Session one brought by Pdt Antonius Hutapea, M.Th, with title: One Flesh.. shared about principles in christian marriage.. things to remember for all participants... Thanks for reminding me, Lord..

Sisterhood in one wedding party (Mulia Raja, 06/06/09)

One sunny Saturday, we attend another family's wedding party that held in Mulia Raja Jakarta (one of Batak's party building).. the wedding of daughter of amangboru metrotv (SM Hutabarat, Host of Dialogues Today @ MetroTv).

On my cousin's Ekky & Intan wedding last saturday, Mom and family of KBKM (Keluarga Besar Kansil Mohede), were all dressed in pinky to purple coloured.. it just look so wonderful.. so lovely.. Mom myself has prepare all the things since months ago.. finding the best purse (from OG Albert), perfect shoes & earrings (little India), pinky watch & blackberry case.. and top of them, finding the model for the dress .. all my efforts paid back.. thanks to my aunty Vonnye (mom of the Groom), who expressed her appreciation on my performance.. :))
So we catched the moments & taking so many pictures..

Last sunny Sunday, Tobing family (my mother-in-low big family), were gathered in Cinere for arisan.. right on my husband Neil's birthday, so we celebrate it once... look at the happy faces from youngest one to senior ones..
